Articles of Ethiopian Association of Basic Metals and Engineering Industries (EABMEI) We, who is engaged in metal engineering industry products have established the organization whose name is given in article 2 of these articles of association. EstablishmentThe organization has been established on September 11, 2007 in accordance with article 404 of the 1960 Ethiopian commercial code and by proclamation no. 341/1995 E.C of trade and sector associations’ councils. NomenclatureThe name of this organization shall be association for basic metal and engineering industries (ABMEI) and hereafter it shall be referred to as the association.Structure Organizational StructureOrgans of the associationThe management of the association shall comprise the following
  • The general assembly
  • The executive committee
  • the manager and
  • The auditor
Members’ contribution
  1. Each member shall pay a registration fee of birr 5000.00 (Five thousand birr)
  2. Each member shall pay annual membership contribution of birr 3000.00 (three thousand birr); and
  3. The membership contribution shall be paid within the first three months of the budget.
Sources of in come of the association Sources of income the association
  • Registration fee and annual contribution by members;
  • Aid from within the country or foreign countries.
  • Income generated from services delivered by the association; and
  • Income collected from income generating arrangements.
